BLACK WOMEN, BLACK HISTORY
2022
In celebration of Black History Month, I embarked on a personal project to honor the remarkable Black women in my life who embody potential and promise. These women, through their strength, leadership, and vision, are not only shaping our present but are poised to be the history makers of tomorrow. This initiative is a testament to their powerful influence and a tribute to their ongoing contributions, emphasizing that the legacy and impact of Black women are essential threads woven into the fabric of Black history and the future.

AÉÉC-CSA REFERENDUM CAMPAIGN
2022
As part of the Communication Student Association (AÉÉC-CSA) at the University of Ottawa, I had the privilege of creating visuals for a campaign aimed at informing and engaging students about a crucial referendum on association fees. This initiative went beyond simply notifying students of the proposed $12 fee increase; it was about showcasing how these fees could enrich and strengthen our community. In an age where attention spans are short, I focused on designing visually compelling and informative content that balanced aesthetic appeal with the core message. To ensure broad reach and inclusivity, the campaign materials were developed in both English and French for effective communication and engagement.

THE BLACK IMPACT IN COMMUNICATION
2022
Understanding the profound importance of representation in personal and professional development as a Black woman, I led a project with the AÉÉC-CSA for Black History Month. This initiative aimed to highlight and celebrate the often-overlooked contributions of Black figures in the field of Communication, responding to the critical question, "Were we not there?" By showcasing these impactful professionals, the project aimed to recognize their role in shaping the communication industry. The content was developed in both English and French to ensure broad inclusivity and accessibility.

AWARNESS POSTERS
This series of awareness posters is designed to highlight key themes, including Black Lives Matter, Cyber Security Awareness, and Pride, through visually appealing content. While minimal in detailed text, each poster captures the essence of its topic with impactful imagery and design. The goal is to draw attention, spark curiosity, and foster awareness through artful representation that resonates with the community.
